This a great warm up climb if you arrive in the afternoon or just want to have a short day to have a bit of a rest. The start of the climb is only 50m fromthe Bar and is a stright forward up and back road. The road surface is not great (so be careful on the descent) but it is quite pretty as you make your way up through the trees. There are long straights on this climb but the gradient stays fairly consistent. The road finishes at Bormio 2000 - where the gondola from the village goes up to. At the top you can enjoy a coffee or coke and some fantastic views of the valley.
